“They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky, they’re altogether ooky!” It’s the Broadway musical sensation, The Addams Family on stage at the Marquis Performing Arts Center at San Marcos High School.   May 4th-May 13th Royals students star in this musical comedy that brings the beloved and bizarre first family of comedy to life, complete with show-stopping musical numbers, choreographed by Christina McCarthy, costumes designed by Renee Levy, and directed by Shannon Saleh with Vocal Music by Eleni Pantages and a live student orchestra conducted by Michael Kiyoi.  Lighting and Set Design by Jonathan Mitchell and technical director Nolan McCarthy.  

From the creators of the Jersey Boys’ Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice,  and Drama Desk Award-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa, the frightfully delightful world of Gomez (Ryan Ewart), Morticia (Cosi Arthurs), Uncle Fester (Milo Bustany), Grandma (Lucia Ramirez Solano), Wednesday (Madeira Thomas), Pugsley (Elise Tsoukalas) and Lurch (Crash Hawkins) come to spectacular life in this all new story, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams. The magnificently morbid family is put to the test when outsiders, Mal (Zach Johnson) and Alice (Emma Dichard)  come to dinner with Wednesday’s love interest, Lucas Beineke (Will Roberts), hurling them into a night that will change their lives forever and bring the ancestors who haunt them back into their world.
